Default Is it morally OK to kill a bigfoot/sasquatch?

There is a show on TV that the info says:

Bigfoot Research Organization heads out on a mission to find and kill a bigfoot.

I know it could be a BS show like the mermaids and Megalodon shark but it raised a question in my mind of whether or not it's OK to kill a bigfoot should it actually exist?

Sorry, my question was is it "morally" ok not necessarily legally ok.

I believe it is actually protected in the state of either Washington or Oregon. I can't remember which.

Anywhere else though, I would think it would be legal as long as the firearm regs were followed.

Megamouth shark is real though... I think you mean Megalodon.

I don't know about legality, but I know if I'm in a deer stand and a squatch comes walkin by I'm pumping him full of lead.

I remember as a kid hunting a stand by myself, sitting there before daylight scared to death convinced that I was gonna see big foot. The tall tales the old timers told around the fire at night didn't help.

I live in an area where there are frequent sitings. I know old timers that seriously believe they saw one. These guys are old school loggers and woodsmen, hardcore Republican, God-fearing men, so I believe them. They aren't out looking for publicity etc. Bobo was actually living not too far from me for awhile a few years ago.

That being said, I have often thought about this very question while out in the woods and I am convinced that I would never try and kill one, but rather befriend it. Honestly, I think I'd try and sit down and smoke a fat spliff with one. How cool would that be? Smoking bombers with Bigfoot.

Why do those looking for them call themselve Bigfoot hunters if they don't want to kill one? If killing one proves they are real and causes these shows to go off the air, then it is morally just.

Maybe someone should put up a crazy monetary award for a BF dead or alive.

Interesting what some folks call entertainment. A show based on hunting an animal and killing it to prove that it does indeed exist. And we wonder whats wrong with this country? LOL

I saw on another website where a guy saw a "rare" albino deer. He killed it and posed proudly with the carcass afterwards and was praised by the other hunters for his "kill". So as long as the Sasquatch isn't out of season why not?
