Sad to see those great cars like that ~~ worse some had to be badly hurt or died.

I admit I busted a Z28 camera in 1976.
Hilton Head SC in 1976 on a palm tree at the turn around
if you know where that is.

Thing about speed its a drug,, you always want more.
I just left the street alone where it should be.. Me and my Rav4.
If I had of bought the rail first, I more than likely would of never built the two Supercharged toys as I lost interested in them quick once I did, but while I posted on the vette I didn't post a lot of what I did with the vette. Some things were better left unsaid. It got a lot of use it shouldn't of but its all part of the thrill when your in the top spot for number one or two.

Tammy rode to the back road races with me but one thing I never did was play with her in the car and even the bass boat scares her so I knew not to go there.

Wish everyone would think about that but a lot of them don't. . That quick side by side blast when someone pulls up with something that might be a challenge and the wife GF in the car has ended a lot different than what it was suppose to be lots of times. Street cars with real power can brake the tires if everything is not right at over 85 mph. You just don't buy HP and know how to tame it. Takes a lot of seat time riding that edge. Why I gave up the street.

Will say this. I'll never , ever win the money on the track I did with that vette. Don't think I ever really mentioned the CI I was running but was a 430 LS stroker. Pulled the stroker stuck a LS1 in it to sell it sold the big motor.
Back to my Rav4...
AKA The Caddy.
Nothing i have ever driven tops the rail. Its like Sex, but as good every time as it was the first time but its done or run where its suppose to be .. I just grew up. ...................To a point. LOL
