Every time I walk into a UPS store to ship something, it has been an entertaining display of absolute retardation. The kicker is their ridiculously and exceptionally exaggerated prices. Note to self, pack your own chit, and mail it via not UPS, save 50% easy. Their store employees are on par with burger flippers in the ghetto.

You can always go and pick it up at the UPS hub.... Just sayin'.... Yes, you deserve and will get a credit, but if the project is that important, why wait?? Mitigate the situation.

Tried that the doors were locked. I figured it was out for delivery by the time I got there they were locked up

Based on what several of their drivers have told me, 2 of whom were old friends, they treat their employees like crap.

Once again... never, ever, EVER ship via UPS. FedEx Ground, Home, or Express. FedEx Freight is a little sketchy at times... but they have some really good lanes if you do dock to dock that nobody can beat...

One more time. NEVER use UPS. I hate UPS more than the post office.

When we were a tiny little company (we're still tiny...lol) they called me "too little to matter"...

Now we do A LOT more shipping (we do about 10x what we did when they told me that)... and they try to solicit me to death. They lie even when they're trying to sell you on themselves.

No thanks. We're a USPS and FedEx loyal company.

I won't even go into damage claims.

Those are franchises, formerly known as Mailboxes Etc. I've dealt with a couple that are very well run. Depends on the owner.

I was on the phone with customer service in Mumbai and the told me that the Stuart distribution hub was closed on the weekend an would deliver on Monday. why did they charge me for Saturday delivery when there was no intention of delivering on Saturday? They did tell me they would give me a refund. Which still screws me over as I have to be on the road Monday now my plans are all fcked up . I am going to cancel my account with UPS those fck sticks.

"They" probably didn't charge you anything, the shipper did.

That being said, the shipping software shouldn't allow a delivery service that isn't available.

Been using them for many years, countless deliveries. Never had one problem with UPS.

I'm responsible for over 100,000 small packages a year - mostly UPS, many Fedex, some DHL, TNT, USPS. UPS has its problems, but statistically less for my company than any other carrier, especially with internationals. Fedex can't compete domestically as their air/ground delivery system is flawed - internationally they seem to have some real conflicts with the customs services in many countries, especially in Asia. If you don't have your carriers sales reps and head office sales managers personal cell numbers on your speed dial, you aren't doing your job right.

The same thing happened to me last weekend, I ordered 2 of the same part, one shipped to the job and the other to my home just to make sure I got it one way or the other. Well guess what, neither one showed up, paid for Saturday delivery on both got them on Monday.

Never trust UPS again!
