Default Ruled a Homicide./NYPD Chokehold

So does 30 misdemeanors justify one felony homicide.
The fact that the Officer lost his badge and gun on the day of the incident was a forewarning the people in charge thought something was wrong.

Not saying the Officer is a bad Officer, just some people are not suited for certain jobs, two prior law suits should have set off some kind of red light.

But why even arrest a guy for selling loose cigarettes? Surely, there are more important malefactors to go after.

This has been talked about before, if they keep busting the small guys and keep those "quality of life" crimes low other crime seems to follow.

It works sort of like this I think: Keep the streets safe enough for good people to walk around and criminals have too many eyes to see what they are up to and they go elsewhere.

A cop ot 2 will add the better reasons behind it I'm sure.

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease." May not be the case here, but its usually because someone complains...
