Default stung 5 times-white faced hornets

I run a landscape company on the cape and didn't follow my own protocol while trimming my own shrubs... 'Always shake the bush before you trim it '

guess i figured they would not be in my own yard and i always do a rush job while handling my own house...bang! 5 times and one in the face....bastids!

I got it last week by ground wasps...they suk as well..

so remember my fellow THT'ers....

'Shake that bush before you trim it "

Perhaps the single best piece of advice ever given on THT.

Reminds me of an old joke.

Punchline?

"Me check for bees" replied the Indian.

Dude, those little guys suck. If it stings it is my mortal enemy. When I put bushes out front, I was certain to get a kind that wouldn't attract bees/wasps.

Dam that sucks.

Same thing happened to my dog. He had four or five welts on his face.
The next day he went for payback. He dug up a bunch of ground wasps and put an end to them. They stung him from nose to tail.

might hold off on the flame thrower being that the bush is touching my house...I'm waiting til dark then its full camo...with 2 cans of wasp/hornet spray...maximum spray 10-15 feet...and a gallon of bleach.....goin on the bush...if this fails then i'll call in a combat engineers to handle the explosives...

I was taking a dump the other day and look up by my skylight. There was a massive wasp on the inside crawling around. That was a very uncomfortable boom boom. Went ninja on it with a flip flop once I was done.

My bald ass got whacked by three hornets on top of my head about about a year ago.
Sucks.

It was scary. Welts were so big he looked like a dimpled golf ball, complete body.
I thought something flying around tagged him. He knew exactly where to find them the next day. He put an end to their nest but they made sure he earned it.
