Bob Denver, better known as Gilligan has passed away... As stupid as Gilligan's Island was, I still loved that show and Gilligan was one of my favorite characters. Even today I will stop to watch the fearless castaways...

Godspeed Gilligan, you will be missed!

God Speed Bob. As goofy as the show was, seems like everyone watched it. It was a comedy, meant to make people laugh and it succeeded. I'll watch a re-run of it rather than one of the new reality shows. I'm also old enough to remember Bob Denver as Maynard G Krebbs on Dobie Gillis. Another make you laugh comedy of old.
Hope God doesn't punish him for making Maryann ride his bow pulpit while he waxed her transom.

What a shame, that's great memory.

Oh yeah, May Ann was the true hottie.

I liked the later movie, when Bob Denver played the bartender, bitchin about the stupid professor who could make a nuclear reactor out of coconuts but couldn't fix a hole in a boat. That was hilarious.
