Default Would you do a BVI charter w/six couples?

I never did any of the Virgin Islands, or the Caribbean for that matter. Friends we ride with once a year out at Sturgis recently came down and visited. While here, they suggest we do this one week BVI charter they did it a few years before and loved it. Don't know why, but I assumed it was going to be 3 couples (We know and get along well with both of the other couples). They rarely cook on the boat, mostly go ashore for food etc.. The other day, I get a text, he's all excited, sold out the other 3 cabins, so there will be 12 on board.. I'm now apprehensive, that's a lot of people.... We have rented a home with 10-12 people every year at Sturgis, lets just say, this year we're looking forward to it just being the two us in the RV....

Anyway, it is a nice boat, plenty roomy, accommodating... The boat is 55' with a 24' beam.... But TWELVE people....

Here is a link....

So ya think I'm getting myself worked up over nothing?

Don't know any 4 couples that would be good together for that long, much less 6.

No way they all come home still friends.

I wouldn't do that charter with 11 family members. 12 peeps on that boat is gonna feel like a sardine can. Throw in some alcohol and its gonna be like drunk sardines.

That 1100 sq ft for 12 people, for a week. Thats not a lot of room, no matter how you cut it.

Nope. I'd be miserable - then again, I hate people. Give me a ranch in Montana....

No way in hell. Way too many people. 12 people you would want 100'+ in my opinion.

3 max and they would be few and far between. I'm easy, but others are a pain

Maybe if the other 5 couples were hot sexy lesbians but that would still be pushing it a bit.
