Default Anybody else getting these calls?

Anyone else getting calls from these 213-205-77** numbers? For the last three days I keep getting calls on my AT&T Iphone and its always a slightly different number. They call anywhere between 5:30 in the morning to 10 at night. I never answer because I know they are spam but I was curious whether anyone else was getting them and whether anybody has answered?

I have in my area. 540 is the area code and I answered one thinking it might be someone asking about a boat detail. Nope, someone trying to sell extended warranties for vehicles.

I get um all the time, but with caller ID, and I don't recognize the caller, I ignore the call.

i'm always too curious not to answer an unknown number, it might be someone i want to speak with

if not, there's always the option to hang up

if it's spam, & time permits, i try to waste as much of their time as possible asking them to hold, and acting interested, before finally telling them to put me on the "do not call" list

the best "comedic opportunity" i have heard so far was the comedian that had the telemarketer thinking he had called a murder scene, telling him he'd be charged with this that & the other if he hung up, local authorities on the way, call traced, etc., hilarious

I have won a total of 16.5 million from some co in Jamaica the last month. I have told them that is more than enough please give to another deserving sole.Just send me what I have already won.If someone would give them their personal credit card number to handle the Handling charges I would gladly reimburse them for their time and trouble.

I get a million spam calls on my home phone but these are the first on my cell. I'm too worried that I'll get hit with some fee or charge if I pick up so i usually just let it ring I figure if its important they'll leave a message.

Don't call any of those numbers back. There has been a scam going around were they call you and they hang up when you answer. If you call them back somehow they reverse charge your line. Not sure how. I've become totally rude to anyone calling me anymore. Enough is enough, and I have had more than enough.

Brighthouse (my cable, Internet, phone provider) called yesterday trying to upgrade my Internet to a faster speed. He says, we will make your Internet faster and your bill will be lower. I said no! What the hell is that? You took the time to call me to increase my speed and take less of my money! Yeah, not so fast!

There are several call block apps where you can block numbers and number beginning with 213-205 (for instance). I use one and it works good.

Yep, we got those calls for a while. And when it started, it would happen about every ten minutes for two or three hours on our home phone. I finally got tired of ignoring it and answered it. Telemarketer of some sort and I told them to never call again. Last I heard from them.

The google business services are the ones that I can't get to quit calling. You ask them over and over to never call again and it does not good at all. Most of the recorded ones, if you listen to the entire menu, there is a brief pause at the end of their recording, and then they throw in the " to stop receiving call from us, please press 6" I guess they get most people to hang up before that brief pause is over.

No, I keep getting calls from Apu at Microsoft saying they are receiving reports from my computer. I tell him that I don't like technology and don't own a computer. I also tell him I don't have a phone. He usually hangs up after that.

I get calls from all over, so it is hard for me to ignore an area code I am not familiar with..

The call came the other day and after his spiel, I politely asked the guy to take me off his list...as I am on the do not call list..

He became belligerent..asking me why I was yelling at him...I hadn't been.

So much for anyone respecting the do not call list....they call in here regularly.

I have an app on my phone that blocks all of these calls as well as blocked numbers.

People report the calls as spam and the app updates every day.
