Default International Marine Service

I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with International Marine Service. I dealt with Michael Reimer on adding some tunes to my "new to me" 21' sport Proline. He was very helpful and knowledgeable on his products. I placed the order later in the day and he was able to get the order shipped the same day. He also gave me the most competitive prices and I look forward to future business with them. I will be soon installing my Fusion RA205, JL 6.5" speakers, Blutooth Module, and USB power port.

Thanks for everything

I didn't know if I should start a thread or just comment on this one but. I just got home from having mike service my Suzuki 300 and do some speaker install. All I can say is they are a great company to work with. Mike listen to what I wanted and suggested what he thought I should do. I had some problems with speaker location as the JL audio 7.7 where to big. Mike suggested a couple things and even built some rings to make them fit but in the end he didn't think they looked good(nor did I want big spacers to make the speakers fit). I was VERY nervous as I didn't want to cut any holes in the boat to install speakers, but in the end they turned out great. He built a nice plate to go across the old speaker location and cut the hole only 2 inch bigger. Looks really good.

He also did a few extras at no cost like replace a fuel primer ball and a broken live bell latch.

Thanks for the service Mike! Ill be back.

Never met the man in person but have been e mailing him a bunch lately on a possible Suzuki repower. He is by far one of the more professional, quick to respond guys in the marine industry. Hope to do business with him soon.

Not a spammer at all just have great info for anyone wanting to re power. Notice i did not bash anyone publicly .... Why assume it's negative? All these super fans are obviously friends, family, employees of the above. It's one experience by one guy; take it or leave it. IM can still make it right, balls in there court.

Dude, either talk about it or STFU. I didn't go back and read through all of your old posts, but from what I saw skimming through them, you only seem to add anything to threads related to International Marine.

Either post it and let them respond, start adding more value to the board by sharing on your 35 years of boating, or go back into your hole and stay there. I am assuming everything you are talking about is negative, because everything you have said is negative or it is asking people to email you so you can share your experience. Start a thread with your story, be specific, and detailed. They will respond and see how it shakes out. . There are two sides to every story and you very well may have been wronged, but another plan from you might be in order.

About as tough as what you said, sugar britches. I am easy to find, I atleast have a home town in my signature, and my name is my ID.

I would change the channel, but you are like the annoying severe weather drill that comes over every channel. Again, STFU, or talk about, sweet cheeks.

Default IMS and Mike

Mike has so far met all the commitments he made to me. He even flew to visit my boat on his nickel and we spent an hour going over what needed to be done to complete a never completed install by another dealer. He has gone a long way to help restore my confidence in the marine electronics industry after a very poor experience with another dealer. His installed price to complete the work is both very fair and I finally look forward to being able to use a boat I took delivery of in April.

. I don't think it's fair to anyone to publicly post negative opinions. Again I'd like to hook up and discuss with anyone face to face whom tells me to STFU

wait, you dont think it is fair to discuss the facts of a problem you have with someone doing work for you (very ethical of you!) but you research and bring up a dozen or so reviews of IM's work to warn people about IM. it is worse to say you have a problem with them and not go into detail than to discuss the facts of the problem in detail.

we are all big boys here. discuss in detail or lay it to rest. perhaps it would have been better to start all of this nonsense after the work on your boat was completed. perhaps you are using this as leverage?

IM has taken responsibility in another thread for whatever problems you are having, but your ethics, motives and credibility are shot.

If you guys are gonna fight, can I suggest a place? There's a sweet dock up by me. It gets some play on TV because there's a well liked tuna fisherman who docks his boat there. YT, I can give you directions. Something tells me dc knows how to get there already.

Hey it sounds like the guy is stressed so as a fellow consumer i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I know I have come close to choking out a dealer or 2 or 3 in my day as well.

However, thus far, it seems that International Marine has been doing the right thing by most members. People appreciate that and will go to bat for a good vendor.

Hopefully you guys get this worked out. IF and when you do, you need to issue a HUGE apology DC because as of right now i'd say you're slandering the guy in a passive/aggressive way. Kind of shady.
