Default 3 yo dies in crash,no license, illegal !

This happened about 10 miles from me.
The story I'm getting now is the guy that caused this had no license,
Is an illegal immigrant, has been arrested for this before and deported,
And is here again! To do this again ! Only this time killing a 3 yo kid!
Burns my ass! Enough is enough!
Thoughts with the parents of this poor kid.

The way it sounded on the news last night was the father was the one who crossed the line and hit the illegal, but the cops detained him because he was driving illegally.

That's the way I saw it too. As of today, he has not yet been implicated as being responsible for the collision.

You don't even want to know how prevalent this is here in AZ. Just because AZ will NOT give them a drivers license doesn't mean they aren't going to drive. They are going to drive anyway -- no license, no insurance. We have a huge incidence of hit and run here. If they can't drive away, they abandon the vehicle and run away on foot. Daily occurrence, multiple daily occurrences here.

Giving them licenses is no solution because it doesn't solve the other problem -- they're illegal and know they will be turned over to ICE.

How are they registering the cars.

Cars can be registered to anybody. Friend, legal family, etc. No laws regarding that the vehicle you're driving HAS TO BE registered to you. From personal experience, I haven't been asked for a registration in years when stopped. Officer asks for two thngs - license and proof of insurance. If the car has a valid plate and current tab on it, the officer rarely checks registration. At least, here in AZ.

Yup,this is what is now being reported.
Early on it sounded like this guy was at fault.

In Massachusetts a drivers license is NOT required to register an motor vehicle, just pay the insurance and off you go.

I still feel that the real problem with illegals are the people that employ them. I do think it is funny when those same people that employ them as "day laborers" complain about them as "illegals" in other conversations.

Unreal. I'll bet he practiced that in front of mirror for 30 minutes to make sure he wouldn't laugh.

I joined team Charlie 6 months ago. I've been slacking due to a bunch of other stuff going on, but need to get re-involved. Simply cannot sit idly by and watch that happen.

Ever try to find laborers that will actually show up and put in a day's work?

The way I see it is if we won't do the job then it doesn't need to be done.

Then stop changing what you call them, you call them "day laborers" when you pick them up at the muster zone and then you call them "illegals" when they qualify for government handouts(because they are paid peanuts).

When threads about "illegals" pop up here, the business owners that employ them remain conspicuously quite on boards like this.

Perhaps. While I don't support illegal immigration, I generally find I have respect for many illegals as their work ethic is pretty impressive. We'll get that trained out of 'em, though, with some good ol' gov't. cheese!

Obama didn't help him out fast enough to stuff his bank account and make him legal!!

On a more serious note, May God be with this family during this time. Disgusting.

they get credit for work ethic because what they do is out in the elements.. they don't CHOOSE to do it..

takes more work ethic do well in public schools and to choose to go to college, to choose to make something for yourself...

again prayers for the family, maybe this will wake obamas dumb ass up.
