Hope all goes well!

Traditional or anterior approach? Coworker went the anterior route last year and has been back at the gym with no problems.

Thanks all she will be out of surgery around 2 pm. As far as "standard or anterior",
I think it will be anterior. I heard the healing time is quicker. I sure hope so, she's been through enough. Thanks Again guys

I had my right hip replaced a few years ago at the ripe old age of 45. Had been in pain for quite a while. She is going to be sore and swollen, but in a few weeks it goes away. I wish I had had mine done sooner, 100% improvement. She's gonna feel great in a few weeks.

Guys all prayers have been received and applied

Mrs. Seefood Man is loopy ( such is the norm) God Bless her and you folks for all your prayers. Things went well, however, the recovery will take longer due to her pre-existing
condition. But nontheless, God, time and your prayers will bring her together.

THANK YOU BROTHERS

FROM MY HEART Thank You

Just about to cry..........................

My wife had hip surgery last Friday.

Was in the hospital for 4 days, experienced amazing care and is now home and the care giver is me (not so amazing)

She is using her walker and getting around rather well. The pain is controlled,
but appears to be diminishing.

If I were to guess, I think the walker disappears in about 4 weeks and life just gets better, it is a bit of bitch right now.

On the positive note. Even with her stunted gate using the walker, I think the doc compensated for her shorter leg with a proper sized replacement and now she appears level.

Good luck..and don't let folks tell you its a piece of cake...its major surgery!
