Why the f*ck do you attract fleas? Why does your house have them? Are you a cat?

Body chemistry. I hear it all the time. Some will get severely bitten, while others in house are not bitten at all. Fleas do not bite me. They will jump on me but will not bite me.

They are introduced into the house by a pet. If they are bad outside we can carry them into our house on our clothing.

I've had them ride in on my dogs, but I don't just live with them, I have an exterminator come.

Vics Vapo rub.

Fleas hate menthol. You can coat the a/c vents in the stuff and it will drive the fleas out of your house.

Whatever you use, you have to spray for at least 3 to 4 weeks because of a flea's gestation period.

You just need to spray with something that sterilizes the fleas you have and vacuum several times a day for a few weeks. They're pretty easy to get under control but man what a pain in the ass when you have them. I remember as a kid when we would go on vacation and come home our legs would be black by the time we got to the bathroom. We would literally put our legs up on the toilet and scrape them off. It was horrible.

The groomer said that this was the worst flea season she's ever seen. Something about how really cold weather makes the little buggers horny??

We've used everything and the shih zsu gets them a day later, no matter what we use. I'm going to try VapoRub...can't hurt and I like the smell.

Potassium in bananas will kill fleas but you need to put down several pounds throughout home for several weeks due to flea gestation period.
I would simply use readily available flea powder killer and vacuum vacuum vacuum.
Had flea problem a few years back and this took care of it.
Remember to vacuum vacuum vacuum. Change vacuum bag out regularly.
Oh yeah, don't forget to vacuum vacuum vacuum for 3 to 4 weeks.

Next time you go away for a few days try sprinkling 20 mule team borax on areas most commonly frequented by the pets. It will dehydrate the fleas and also kill the eggs. It readily vacuums up unless it gets wet. It's cheap and effective. Kills roaches and spiders as well and works great out doors.

Looks like there is a stronger Bifen for outside only. Oil base that is mixed with water.

Bifen XTS. 25% vs 7% active ingredient.

Does anyone still use tobacco dust on their lawn to get rid of the little buggers outside?
