What's making them jump like that? Feeding or being chased maybe?

Ya I have never seen that. Cool. But it looks like they are trying to get out of the water and fly away, only to do a bellyflop back into the water.

we saw one doing this in Key West a few weeks ago......right in front of Mallory Square

I have never seen that in Lake Erie.....

I didn't even know they could jump like that, pretty cool.

I saw a huge one jump in the charleston harbor once. It didn't get out of the water all the way though. Kinda scarred me as it was a really big one. Way bigger than those in the video.

Saw one jump in the BVIs in February. No one believed me though.

I was sailing my Hobie off Pompano years ago, and a manta about 15' wide jumped 20' away from my boat.............it was a "WOW" moment!

I've never seen a large school jump like that. Amazing!
