Default First Connley Custom Rod

Picked up my first custom rod that bryan and todd built for me at the palm beach boat show today. I am very impressed with the rod. I wanted a 7' 6-12 lb spinner with the new microwave guide system. I ordered it over the phone from todd and he suggested the silver boesch wrap to match the shimano sustain reel I was planning on using. The build quality is excellent and I can't wait to use it as the action seems to be exactly what I was looking for. They used a Bushido blank and it feels awesome. I put an order in today for another 6-12 with the phenix ultra mdx blank. I went with connley based on the recommendations of fellow THT members. I am very glad I did. Thanks bryan and todd. BTW, show was awesome and amongst lots of nice boats saw the Nor Tech 39 with triple 7's. Amazing !!!

Thank you Paul. It was a pleasure meeting you in person at the boat show! I love the way that whole set up came out with the matching Shimano reel! We are definitely looking forward to making you a matching rod now!!
Cant wait to see that first big Snook you get on it!
