Default Houseboat with island in keys, anyone ever stay here?

My wife found this and it looks cool, anyone familiar with it at all? Would like some opinions before we book, but it looks great.

I am almost sure that is in Marathon. I think I just saw that TV show Island Hunters and this was on there.

Yes, it is on/near Marathon. It's on the bay side of US 1 and a bit NE from Vaca Cut.

Yep that's it, I think it sold recently for around $1 mil. My wife and I have circled it a few times. It looks nice.

It looks fantastic. The photos are well taken, the island looks cool, and they throw in a skiff?

How many are in your party? The boat is a Holiday Mansion and they have a decent layout, but more than a couple adults and things might get tight over 7 days. The bathroom and shower are pretty cramped on the models I've seen. Fridge looks small. How many AC units does it have? You'll need (2) units to keep it cool on a hot sunny day. I'm guessing you have to run the genny for power?

Still looks way cool, these are just a few things that came to mind.

Just wife and I, 8yo son, and possibly our 15yo niece, so not to bad. I think we're going to book it and I'll report back for sure!

I did something similar on the St. John's river for a week . 4 of us ,2 adults and two teen kids were pretty comfortable on the boat.
You do have to run the jenny for ac and fridge.we would run it for short periods in the daytime ,just enough to keep stuff in the fridge ok. Then run it at night for ac.theyll probably give you a bunch of tips on how to best use it and fuel for the boat. They did where we were. We had an absolute blast !
I'm going to run this by the gang . Looks awesome also .

Sounds like a perfect crew for the boat. We spent a lot of time on a boat just like that and it was perfect for two adults and a couple kids.

I sent the link to my wife told her we were going, her response, "I bet it smells funky". So please report back with smell. Though I bet I know the answer...

They are booked the week we need it! Looking for something with a boat, since I am more or less boatless (project boat-not done). Just a little 17' cc would be fine. Wife wants to stay in Key West, which is okay by me, but I am more familiar with Marathon. Anyone have any houses with boats to recommend?

Yeah, I was just looking for a rental that came with a boat. This way it is mine to use whenever I want.

All I can think of is how bad the skeeters and no-see-um's would be. Probably awesome in the winter but not sure about the summer.
