Default What credit card are you using for your small business?

I have a BOA card now for my small construction business and I am fed up with them. I would like some sort of rewards program so I can put my materials on it to get something back rather than just writing a check for it.

I am looking at the Chase card or the American Express business card

What are you using and why?

Default Business card

AmEx; Delta Skymiles. Good return on expenditures to cash in for tickets and upgrades.

i use capital one spark card. 2 miles per dollar spent. 20000 miles equals 200 dollars in bass pro gift cards. they also have cards from anything from lowe's to macy's. i don't spend money on christmas gifts anymore.

We use the Chase Ink at 1%. Probably not the best deal going but they have been very good to work with.

Amex - the customer service department is great and when you earn rewards you can call their travel department and have them plan your vacation. When times were good (alas, not recently), we were able to book a week for 4 in Puerto Rico and another week for 4 in Tortola. Amex took care of the whole deal.

There's even a payment option on Amazon to use your Amex points.

As a merchant, Amex charges almost twice what VISA/MC charge, but most of our sales are in the $3K -$5K range and most customers prefer to use their Amex when offered the option. It's a shit load better than chasing checks.

Like them or not, though, Amex is the gold standard for credit cards (excuse me, charge cards).

I like the AMEX but my mother is a travel agent so the travel is less important. I would rather have cash rewards. Does AMEX do rewards outside of travel?

I use AMEX for everything personal & business. Separate cards but both accrue Membership Miles in same account

And yes I agree it's stupid to pay for a credit card

Capital One Visa because we can combine the miles/points from the business card with the home card (also Capital One Visa). That really increases your ability to redeem points.
I just dealt with their customer service on two separate issues and both contacts were outstanding.

If they take my Amex Cash Rewards -- I use that. 3% on fuel, 6% on groceries, and 1% on everything else.

Sometime Discover (if there is a deal doing).

Otherwise Amazon Visa

(PayPal Visa is good when there's a deal brewing too)...

I avoid "air mile" cards at all costs.

Citibank AAdvantage- we take a roundtrip, first class flight to anywhere they fly once a year on the miles we earn. Last year it was Barcelona. Its a nice perk, beats flying in steerage.
