I do believe I'll be loading my hand guns with this ammo...once it becomes available and IF I can find any in stock. I imagine many gun owners will be buying this stuff in bulk quantities whenever possible. ESPECIALLY the preppers. The manufacturer of R.I.P. ammo is going to make a killing...no pun intended

Black Talon bullets are nothing more than JHP. These bullets actually separate into many different fragments. The Black Talon's remain as one fragment.

You are correct, this is nothing like the Black Talon ammo. Due to political correctness the name was changed to Ranger SXT ammo, which I currently carry on duty. This new ammo is specifically designed to "come apart" after impact in order to cause a HUGE wound canal and the maximum amount of damage.

The old Black Talon would peel back to expose pointed razor like tips, but the bullet stayed together because it was a jacketed hollow point. This new ammo breaks apart into multiple pieces.

The problem I see with this ammo, other than the Liberal Democrats having a brain aneurysm and trying to ban it, is what will the ammo do when it hits glass, a vehicle door or any other solid obstruction? If it comes apart on impact it will be useless to law enforcement and military.
