Question Need help finding stainless steel table w/ metal lip all around -wet bench/work table

I've found a few people that have some new and used (restaurant supply, etc.) "stainless steel work tables" -- and they're pretty affordable. What I need are these same tables, except that I need them to have a lip that run around the edge of the table (to contain leaks, etc.) -- I believe they may be called "wet tables" -- but I'm not totally sure of that.

Right now I'm thinking about just getting a regular "work table" and fabricating the lips out of starboard or similar and screwing it from the bottom... but I'm not really in love with this idea and would much prefer the entire thing made out of stainless.

If anyone has any ideas or the correct "name" to be searching for, it would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Pete

P.S. I need quite a few of them in a few different sizes... preferably with heavy duty casters on the bottom... but I can work with what I can get if need be.

Go to a local stainless fab shop and have them bend up what you want - 16 or 18 ga. should be fine. Don't forget the base - they can make a base, or have them weld tabs on the underside and you can make a wood base to suit.

I didn't think about that... I could have the tops made and then just do the bases out of dimensional lumber... hmmmmm... that changes things... and I could get certain sizes, etc.

Thanks... now I've got to find a place around here. Back to google I go.

Pete, think about a PVC base for easy cleaning and sanitation.

Merry Christmas.
