"Coke and Pepsi started serving Coke and Pepsi without the syrup, and charging more than Coke or Pepsi for it, and charging even more for it than gasoline."

Wow. Biggest scam ever!

The man who decided to bottle water was one of the smartest entrepreneurs of all time. Brilliant move.

Excellent video.

At home we do buy bottled water by the case to grab and go out the door. Typically the cheapest we can find. Home Depot has it for $3 or $4 a case sometimes.
I have never understood buying it in the Quick Stop for $1.25-$1.75 a bottle or a vending machine then throwing the bottle away.
Why not refill it?

I will start the week with a new bottle and carry it in my cooler all week. Refilling it multiple times mostly at home with our well water.
The Nalgene's I have don't fit vertically in my daily cooler. Need to get a shorter one.

On the boat, the bottles work best. Take one and freeze it for smaller coolers. Drink the water as it thaws if needed.
My uncle I used to work with would use an empty 2 liter soda bottle filled half way then freeze it. Top off with water in the morning and drink that all day.

Worked with someone that would only drink Disani.

On vacation in Seattle in 08 I believe, we went to a baseball game. Standing outside waiting for the doors to open an employee of the stadium said we could not take bottle water in.
We said, here check, the seal has not been broken. They didn't care. So we poured the water out, went inside and refilled the bottle from the water fountain just inside the door.
Everyone felt so much safer......NOT.....but that's another subject.

I fit two 1 liter nalgene's in my cooler, a Coleman thermos, and 2 meals +snacks. Front pocket holds phone, charger, wallet, and miscellaneous items. Side pockets hold silverware on one side and relevant paperwork on the other. Coleman, slings right over my shoulder.

I refuse to buy bottled water unless I'm in a place like Pascagoula MS where the water really taste bad. In Louisville the water company does put out it's own bottled water called Pure Tap

In my 39 years of construction, I am on my 3rd small Igloo. Have bigger ones but his fits this has fit the bill. Boat use also.
Lost the first one when I accidentally left it at the race track in Morgantown, W.VA (motorcycles), broke a handle on #2 when a sheet of Sheetrock fell and karate chopped it.
This is #3. Goes everywhere I go.

I remember where I was when I first seen a bottle of water for sale. I was in a carry-out in Dundee, Michigan. When I seen it I laughed and thought who is going to spend a $1 for a bottle of water?? Obviously I was very wrong.

We buy the cheapest bottled water we can find but that's because we have well water. I refill the water bottles with our Culligan bottled water but my wife and daughter don't do this. We have bottled water in the house yet they won't refill the bottles w/ the bottled water.....go figure.
