Default Software question - YouTube

I use YouTube a lot to download videos on how to disassemble and reassemble anything from guns, motors to fishing reels. I keep the links on the computer but would like to download them to a jump drive. Did a Google search and came up with a lot of "FREE" junk. When I say junk, I mean it download everything onto your computer.

I do not mind buying a program but not really sure what one to look for.........Any suggestions?

I use firefox with a plugin called dwhelper. Whe you are on youtube and you are watching a video you can just click on the dwhelper in the toolbar and it will download the video. There is a paid version that will allow you to convert the video in to another format.

Here are the links.

I've used this. I like it, and CNET gives good reviews as well.
