I guess people are gambling on GZ dying soon (maybe in a blaze of gunfire......or slipping on Skittles), thus making the painting somewhat valuable.

Serious question because I don't know. Has he been convicted of anything? I know he has had women in his life making false claims that have been proven false. But other than that, and if you are not an African American pissed off with the verdict due to the race factor, why is he considered such a bad person?

Art, something that someone deems asthetically pleasing. Often enough so that said person will pay exhorbitant sums of money for it. I watched a show where a host took "paintings" by kindergarten students and "showed" them in a high-end gallery in NYC. You should have hear dthe moronic comments by the art critics. They loved the paintings simply because they were hanging in a frou frou gallery. I wouldn't give Zimmerman $5 for one of his paintings but as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

The painting isn't 1/2 bad compared to most of the crap you see out there.

If the top bidder is real I think this is a Death Pool gamble he is playing.

With all the crap that has happened to him/brought on himself he just needs to go away somewhere and not be noticed for a few decades.

But, as he has proven, he is a man of his word. Are you suggesting he is not and would not pony up should he win?

How humans think!!!!

A couple of threads ago there is a man who was dispised and ridiculed just a mere 20 or so years ago. He was hated and mocked by all, and now it seems most folks like him. (Mike Tyson).

Yet this man who was tried in the court of public opinion..(media) was never convicted, and has been hung out to dry by proven habitual liars is Hated and dispised just like Mike was!!!

Funny how time changes things. We still are so quick to rush to judgment, myself included.
