Default Wake up time? Morning routine?

So, I have found in my life that the earlier I get up, the better I usually feel, the more I accomplish, etc.. It's something my old man and grandfather lived by. I've never been a morning person though so it's hard for me (unless it's for hunting or fishing ) particularly since there are days I don't have to be anywhere and I can just work from home.

What times do you all wake up and what do you do with your mornings?

I started walking in the mornings. Meet up with my walking partner at 6:30. Works both for exercise, and the fact that I am forced to get up and get with it, or keep someone waiting. Left to my own devices, the snooze button is my friend.

5am, get the coffee going while the computy wakes up, do some emails (work stuff). 7:30 feed and drug Thelma and myself, do our walk. About 9am I start my day at being semi-retired or retired....

5:30. Cup of tea. Check work emails. Another cup of tea. Check all the bank balances. Educate THT members on the topic of the day. Go for a 5K run*. Have breakfast. Go into my home office. Start work about 7:30. Continue my education of THT members throughout the day while working until around 7:00. Stay at that steady pace for seven days a week. I prefer it that way rather than short bursts of intensive working and then taking time off.

*I've modified something I read in Runners World. From Thanksgiving to NYE I run everyday. You HAVE to run at least one mile each day. I have added that you must have run 100 cumulative miles or more by New Years Day. That makes it roughly a 5K everyday. So far so good. Not much different from my normal routine though I used to run longer runs fewer times a week.

I'd hate to speculate, but probably rather well.

Think of the hundreds if not thousands of readers of this site, too scared to speak up who think, "That Dreamer fella sure is smart and stuff. Foreign too! Probably knows karate and speaks four languages. I'll listen to him."

Though, we never hear from them. I take solace from the fact that I need no thanks. The work is reward enough.

I like that. For me, since I routinely educate you, I take solace in knowing that "trickle down" theories, in fact, work.

Up at 6, cup of coffee and a couple glass of water, alternate days either running 5 miles or lifting weights from 6:30 to 7:15. 7:15 to 7:50 have breakfast, get kids ready for school, go to bus stop, come back in, shower get ready for work, leave for work usually at work before 9.
My routine is the same on the weekends, I cannot sleep past 6 anymore no matter what I did the night before.
