Nothing good was going to happen with that thread. There is a group that knows how to push Mike's buttons. They do it very well and then get Mike banned. He falls for it way too many times.

If Mike were a whale, they would be extinct.

I keep missing the good stuff!

Can I subscribe to certain individuals?

Is there a Geiger counter alert to notify of an impending meltdown?

It was locked, then deleted for some reason.

Probably to keep from banning Carrigan again, he was getting rather threatening.

It started out simple enough.
Wasn't any reason for people to get all stiffy, some people just don't know how to be gentlemen.

this and only this.

there is no reason to have a thread in which some of the people involved simply trying to rile up a few and then all sit back and laugh when someone ops a cork and needs to be disciplined. we do not like having to do what we sometimes have to and we would much rather put out the fire before it escalates

Mike was in Nairobi Kenya during the west gate shopping situation. he was selling flats boats to the Nobutu tribe on lake minnihaha when the shtf. fortunately Mikes' special ops training at proline allowed him to take out most of the perps! Bravo zulu Mike!

It needed to end.

That is a problem as far as I'm concerned. The person that did the provoking should get banned camp time as well. When those types of rules are not in place and enforced then the catty play continues. It is not right that those people that carry a grudges get to lash out whenever they please and get away with it. These types of catty attacks are so frequent that people are already starting to comment and creat posts and threads.......it brings this site down and has drove off many good members.

Let me be perfectly clear.
I started the other thread, I had not seen or heard of Mike for some time, I was cuirous as to where he was, usually when I wake up Mike has had something to say somewhere.
I was oblivious to the goings on on the POP threat.
I was also unaware of the bad blood between Mike and some of the other posters.
I do know of a couple that egged him on and felt it was in bad taste.
Anyway, I enjoy reading him, usually has some good stories.
And, has some good knowledge.
I agree with Garret also, there are some other folks that ought to be getting "time" also.
Aneyway------------.

How ABOUT that weather-----.

Yeah me too, all the freakin time! How about someone copying threads that are controversial so you can email it to people that want to know what happened? I miss everyone of these threads or else I would copy them so I could bring curious members up to speed. Once a mod deletes a thread there is no way to pull it up again.

Justice is blind, and sometimes deaf, dumb, and well, lets just say I wouldn`t last long in front of a judge if I felt just.

I also would like to see our entire....

The Bilge is different - there is a warning/disclaimer before you enter it and the rules are different here. when the Bilge-like stuff come to the upper forums, there will be no leniency

I get it, which is why I stayed out of that thread, but "if there is no reason", then there is no reason, regardless of where the thread originates

And I don't think the OP of that thread was looking to rile ole Mikey. But you it that name in the title of any thread, and it's gonna go sideways in a hurry. Dude has quite a "fan club" here.

Yes it did and as soon as Mike posted the haters hated. Mike digs in every time. As stated in the first thread I like and respect him and his passion. I wish I knew as much as Mike about boats an boating.
