One of the greatest authors. He will truely be missed. He lived in this area and I have seen him several times out on the water, on his boat "Patriot". I think his place is in St. Michaels if I'm not mistaken.

I did a little crab potting in front of his house on the Western Shore years ago.
He lived on a big hill with a big ass tank facing the Bay.

As a teenager, I thought that was the coolest thing in the world.

Loved his books later, and still watch Hunt for Red October whenever it comes on.
He will be missed.
