A giant ass in hot pants on the back seat of a Harley is the worst.

Not saying that any one in particular does but the intardweb can be a good thing to hide behind.
I totally don't agree with your point. I could lose some weight but I work everyday to support my family and my weight doesn't stop me from doing anything that I could do if I were 30 pounds less.

I think it's stupid to compare someone that is overweight to the massive people that I originally mentioned.

So in three months I went down to 185 pounds.

Simple. Stopped eating candy bars and drinking sodas, cut out all cakes, pies, cookies. Quit eating eggs. No white bread or baked goods. Cut way back on red meat. Started eating more veggies and fruits. Fish and chicken are on the menu a lot. (Yea! More reason to go fishing!)

So, I feel a lot better now and chloresterol is down to nothing.

One thing this has done is make me more aware of the obese as mentioned in this thread. Especially when I am shopping in the grocery store. I notice jabba the hut in the electric powered shopping cart and look at what he is buying. No wonder they are obese!! You are what you eat folks. Not only in the type of food but in the amount. Jesus, some of the folks cannot even walk from the parking lot into the store!
I just got back from hopefully my LAST trip to Disney World in Orlando with the family. It's been 5 years since I was there and over that time it has been taken over by obese people riding around on motorized scooters. There are so many you can hardly walk down the pathways to get to the rides. It became kind of a game for us to play "dodge the rascals" on the way to each destination.

Most of the people using these ARE NOT handicapped - they are just plain lazy or obese or both. The irony of them riding on these things was obvious even to my kids (ages 7 - 11), when my youngest asked me "Daddy, if the big lady that nearly ran over you would walk instead of ride wouldn't she not be so big?" Now I am 100% in favor of handicapped people using these scooters, but after you watch 1,000 fat people drive them around all day, then hop out to get on the ride, only to get back on the scooter and leave after its over, its tough not to get cynical of people using these things. In fact, after watching truck after truck delivering them in front of our resort all week, I couldn't help but think that in another five years everyone in that damn place will be riding on one.

He can't get out of bed, he can't go to the store to buy anything, seems like it would be pretty easy to make him lose weight by not feeding him. I don't even want to know what's involved with his other bodily functions.

How could someone see a person so miserable yet keep feeding him? That seems to me to be some sort of abuse.
Actually in a way, you are. By paying minimum wages to their employees, fast food joints require thier employees to apply for social benfits to allow them to live in those communities to staff those restaurants. I picked FF joints becuase if I was picking up the feed bill for these individuals, I would definitely head there for the most bang for the buck, calorie wise. They need calories and plenty of them. So that $5.00 Big Mac that looks so cheap to buy actually costs much more when you figure that you are supporting the people who cooked it.

Oh and BTW these morbidly obese people can not stop eating any more than you could not love your family any more. Once you realize what the problem is, you start to understnad.

Since they are bed ridden and can't even stand, how would they get food if someone wasn't supplying it to them?
