Default Damn DEAD CATS under my office

My office is in downtown of our city and it is a very old building and every now and then a cat gets in the crawl space and dies and naturally does not smell too good

I was out of the office yesterday and secretary called me and said the smell knocked her down when she went in the office

My FAT ASS ain't going under there and besides I have ZERO SENSE OF SMELL so not a big deal to me(When I gave her a hard time about sucking it up yesterday her last words to me were FO)

Anyway got one of my clients gonna send one of his guys but this am, I told them $50 cash to get it out, and I also picked up couple bags of lime

This is what we did last time this happened

Also nice weather here this week so we can leave front door opened

Any other ideas to what will help and anyone know of a way to keep the DAMN CATS OUT OF THERE

We are always afraid to close the crawl space doors figuring cats are under there and trapping one underneath

Someone mentioned moth balls would help

Yes I would take my 22 down there and shoot crap out of them but they don't take too kindly to that in the city limits

Why not create screen doors for the crawlspace if you like airflow under the building

seal the crawl space up and put some live traps down there and catch them and remove them.

Are you sure it is a cat and not a local homeless person?

Get a couple of the old fashioned green 7up bottles, throw'em under the building.

Cats won't go near'em.

Snakes either.

Least ways that's what I told one of the young guys at work when his wife found a garder snake in the kitchen.

Don't laugh

I can sit right here looking out of my office window at an old building that had just that under it a couple years ago, in fact the body had been dismembered

One of my clients sent one of his guys buy here today, he went under there and got it out and spread a bag of lime on the ground.

I originally told him $50 but I had 3 20's so I have him $60

Not bad for 30 minutes work I guess but at least my Secretary will quit bitching at me now

He did look under the office real well and made sure nothing else under there and closed the crawl space access doors on both sides very good

We had skunks under one of our buildings. We were worried about trapping one inside while closing off access. One way doors solved the problem.they can get out but nothing can get in.
