I hope that POS gets all he has coming... I just cant believe these guys throw away a descent job and their morals for chump change... I could maybe understand if they were offered 10 million dollars or something, not saying I would do it but I could see it a lot more.. Glad that piece of chit got caught..

In spite of the select few that make snide comments about LE, I am proud to say the vast majority of LEOs do what is right and most will do what is right even at personal loss..... and I have seen the ugly in LE and I have seen the good... Thankful the system works most all the time...

Knowing your inside story, you truly have seen the bad side. I too still believe the vast majority of cops are good. But I'm tired as hell of defending the profession. I'm glad I'm out.

Nah, no different than any other group, you're just held to a higher standard, as you should be.

I too believe that the vast majority of cops are good but I think you make a huge mistake when you try to "defend the profession" in these cop threads. Generally the threads are about a specific incident and while everyone else is judging the incident you are "defending the profession".

You know what that looks like to the average Joe? It looks like a guy that will defend his brothers in spite of the incident. It looks like a guy that won't cross the "blue line" that most claim doesn't exist. It looks, well, a little shady.

Now I'm not saying you are any of these things but it can be perceived that way when everyone else is judging a video or a report of a specific incident and you are on your own tangent "defending the profession".

I think you're seeing that now because you've posted up some of the bad apples yourself but I also know that you have a hard time away from some of these threads.

Just the way I see things...do with it what you will.

I will defend the profession till the day I die. I post on every bad apple, and in every screwup, I've slammed the cop involved...so, whats your point?

As a general rule, I trust all cops. When i'm dealing with local cops who work within 50 miles of our SW border, they have to work a little harder for my trust.

The cartel motto is "Silver or Lead". Think about that.
