Default What toy for my birthday?

I hate gifts. When I want something I go out and buy it. I don't buy "things" because they're cool. I'm a very practical person. It sounds boring I know but I hate having stuff that I don't use.

All that being said, what ideas do you have for a cool toy for me? Practical or not. Something fun or cool to have. Helicopters are out and so is the bug-a-salt (as cool as they both are!!).

Maybe it's time you started thinking about others instead of yourself..........what about a train set that travels around your house, yard and garden(s). Something in the 1/8th - 1/10th scale range outt'a carry grandpa and granddaughter around quite nicely!

Jeezus fellas. This is a bday toy not a inheritance splurge.

Trip would be ideal and what I would do but no can do. Just started a company.

A boat is going to happen (when the right one shows up) so I want another toy.

Up to $2,000 toy. If it's cool and only a couple hundred, thats Ok. Doesn't have to take 2g's but it can.

In the spirit of THT, What if the limit was 20k?!

You know, I'm all about the "doing things" but every once in a while i come back from a trip and I'm like "holy crap, I can't believe I just spent $3000 for 4 days somewhere." I am much happier with the Jet Ski I bought than the long weekend I spent at Atlantis, for about the same price.

Ipad? 65" LCD TV? Home theater projector? Gopro camera? Kayak? Nice pair of fishing rods? Digital SLR? Scuba lessons? Tiki hut? Electric bike? Paddleboard? Golf cart? Badass set of tools?
