Default House power down.........

Well, I finally did it; I screwed up and didn’t have house power on board this past Sunday. I had asked L J to “plug in the boat” (which plugs in the onboard charger) when she closed the shop behind me while I put the truck in the garage. I didn’t check behind her and she forgot, shame on me. The biggest inconvenience was not having the stereo. I got to thinking how I could get power to the stereo???? I knew I had the jump pack on board but how would I hook it up????? Well……. I took the male cig plug and about 3‘ of the cord from the blender and the male plug and about 3’ of cord from a spotlight and spliced them together. I then disconnected the house batteries and “back fed” the jump pack to the stereo through an accessory outlet on the console. It worked like a charm and we had tunes all afternoon. Moral of the story, have a back up plan IN MIND in the event one of your systems goes down.
