Default Big Horn - A Cool Project Truck (Probably Illegal)

All right, I'm tired of arguing the demise of society with everyone, so here's something I think we can all agree on: this truck is way cool.

We're just about finished with scanning our photos (several thousand - what a job!) and I came across these shots of a guy we met more than a few years ago.

The truck had dual gas powered air compressors, all stainless braid hose, feeding at least one of every type air horn there ever was. From ship's horns to railroad whistles, and everything in between.

The valves were individually controlled from ropes that came together at the rear of the truck, terminated in rubber pull starter handles arrayed in a rack. He could stand at the back and play a (really loud) concert on this thing.

Check out the license plate. Enjoy!

Whatever toots your horn, I guess! Kind of an oddball project, but if you've got the time and money, well... who's to say, right?

If you collected horns, and had a garage full, it makes a pretty cool display (and organizes the garage).

Long as he lives in your back yard and not mine-- I could care less. Bout the 3rd time he'd cut loose on a early morning/late night, Houston we have a problem.

Lol. reminds me of the time I was at a traffic light behind a car with a couple women in it. Bumper sticker said "honk if you love Jesus." Was feeling pretty good that day and gave a toot. Both the biaches flipped me the bird as they continued on. Actually thought it was kinda funny.

Don't know if I would want to be near the front end on those horns

My '85 El Dorado has factory installed locomotive horns on it. I love laying on them when some unsuspecting pedestrian is crossing the street. You'd be surprised how high people can jump!!!

I bet if you laid on 'em behind a Prius, it would suck about 100 miles out of the battery charge!
