Default Ebay Sellers - Unpaid Item Case

I've sold a limited number of used items on Ebay from around the house. For the first time I have a buyer who didn't pay and did not reply to my sending an invoice or a message I sent.

I just opened an unpaid item case but did not "turn on" the Unpaid Item Assistant.

Any advice on what is going to happen? The item was a used cell phone for which there is a strong market, and I had 8 or 9 bidders, so it would sell if I re-listed.

In 4 days you should get a notification from eBay that the case has been closed and that you will not be charged the fees, then you can re-list it.

Thanks. I knew I could have simply re-listed, but this buyer didn't respond to my message or invoice. If he/she does this frequently, they deserve it.

Wasn't sure how the process worked.
