Default sold boat, need to mod something...

So I bought a new SS Camaro - a childhood dream to always own a V-8 model. So far for car guys, here's the big mods:
Vossen 22 x 8 and 10 CV3's
Cold Air Intake
Heritage Grill and SS badges - all others gone
Charcoal stripes
All New JL system (naturally)
Magnaflow exhaust with quad tips
More to come - the idea was to mod wiothout looking boy racer:

Very nice Glen!
I read the list before looking at the photos, and thought the 22's would be too much - but they really look nice. Entire car has a nice clean look.

Thanks! I really spent a lot of time with this- camaros are about the only car I know that can run 22's and not look like ghetto wagon wheels....the wells are HUGE and this fills them up. I don't want to lower....The car came with 20's....Vossen (local company) let me try a 20, 21 and 22....

The cold air intake is a piece of automotive jewelry...by Cold Air Inductions, Inc, it also has the near highest WHP increase in the tests...

Nice car, Glen!

I don't see a "tuner" in your mods? Get one to change out the "black box" specs and it will wake that thing up even MORE - I know it sure did for my Mustang! Mine is an SCT but Bama makes them too, as do several other companies.

Tuner will probably run you $400 or so PLUS a couple of dyno runs (another $100 or so EACH) to set it up. You can THEN program it for "street" or "performance" mode, or, back to factory specs anytime you like - takes 5min. or LESS, and plugs in to yur car's "diagnostic plug" (usually under the dash). Most any performance shop carries them and can do the work.

Edit: Just noticed you SOLD YOUR BOAT???????????????????? ;?;?;? Wuzup wit DAT??? ;? Funny though - I bought my Mustang after I sold MY boat in 2010. Mid-life crisis demands NEW toys!

Regards,

Smoke the tailights. It will make it look amazing! Buddy has a red camaro and its just like yours. Smoked everything out and looks awesome. It would make it look much more sleek. For performance, a tuner, supercharger, and a jet engine strapped to the back would help out! Dont forget the nitrous! Haha

I'm familiar with the tuner thing but I'm not doing any perf mods...like it stock - the CAI just looks good (LOL)

and the car is tinted - but won't do the taillights as I know people at my tint shop that have been sued in rear enders due to tinted lights - defense lawyers have seen to that...don't mind them very red, telling everyone I AM STOPPING.....

Did you have a proper permit for that handicap space you parked in?

I was waiting for the handicap permit to come up.

Knowing Glen (thru THT) I am sure that if he is parked in that spot, he has reason to be there.

You will love the tuner....It was the first thing I did to my 07 Mustang GT when I got it....it's a totally different car than stock, you won't believe the difference, AND...I now have 150,000 miles on that car and it runs just as good as it did when I purchased it brand new. I wouldn't worry too much about the negative affects of a good tune...but you'll sure enjoy the positive ones.

Beautiful car!! I hope you enjoy it. Sad day when Glen E does not have a boat with Mercs. hanging on the back.

The one mod I would not do is re-flash AKA chip the computer. GM can pick up the modification on it the first time a dealership plugs it in. This will void your warranty on the engine and if they get nasty your drivetrain.

My camaro is a only "part one" of mid-life (actually retirement) crisis - so no tune - I'll trade this on a 2015=16 Vette.....
