Default BUG-A-SALT disassembly help!

My bugasalt stopped working (pump not cycling new round). I need to take it apart, but am stuck on the orange tip of the barrel. How does this come loose? I'm afraid if I force it, I'll break it (which I am good at!).

Thanks to the THT Bug-A-Salt Militia!

You have stripped a 'wheel'. Call Brian, 310-392-3288 (California time).
He shipped me 2 at no charge and was most helpful with re-assemble.

Noted. I've got 200 rounds through mine thus far with no issues. 199 insects, and one bare ass cheek.

Although I am rated "expert" in both handgun and rifle shooting skill sets, I will admit I have missed a few.

I think mine shoots low, maybe I'm jerking.

Could be the damn humidity gumming up my ammo. ;?

Mine is at the house as of this afternoon ... wife sent me a text and said "this guns great I killed all the flies in the garage !!" I was pissed , I immediately called her up to hear her and my daughter laughing . I guess joke was on me. Still in the box along with big tub of mortons waiting on my arrival !

Yep, it's hard to control the excitement, gotta make myself remember to exhale, 2 seconds, pull trigger, then inhale, remain calm and focused. I want a fully automatic one of these, and the ability to use bigger ammo such as sea salt.

Sea Salt works fine... "Magnum Armed".... just slightly more expensive.
Have found the groove 'instinct' shooting, most similar to bow shooting without the pins.
@ 80% at up to 5'.
My Daddy would be SO proud.....

I was not able to get the orange tip off of the gun without breaking it...called Brian and he said I got an older model. Anyway, he is sending me a replacement today! I didn't even have to ask. Pretty good service for a $35 toy.
