Default Boat tours? Single vacation...

Hi - thinking of knocking off a bucket list item of mine "Go on a trip for a week by myself"

Does anyone know of any boat tour trips anywhere in the US that would be cool?

I've always wanted to go to that fort off the coast of FL - would be neat if there was something that offered like 8 days on a big boat (but not a cruise ship) that would sail all around the coast of FL or somewhere down there..

Just wondering what you guys thought.

If you mean Ft. Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas - there are boats in Key West that will take you.
It is a very cool place to visit and explore. It is where Dr. Samuel Mudd was imprisoned.

You might consider chartering a boat or a series of boats for a multiple leg trip.

It looks like these guys may have switched business models, but they used to do multi-day fishing trips out of Key West...they'd get way out to the good fishing near the Dry Tortugas. I'm not sure if they stopped for tourist time there or not.

You could blow a week easy fishing your way through South Florida and the Keys. Plenty of 'party boats' so you wouldn't have to go broke on individual charters. Might be worth spending a day fishing the everglades too.

I think THT member lemaymiami can hook up the Everglades portion. Maybe he could make some recommendations for the Keys.

An old friend of mine runs this boat out of Ft. Lauderdale:

I can't think of a small boat florida cruise ship type experience...

What about hopping on your boat and running down the intracoasta

A week exploring from NC down to GA would be a blast
