Default time for new cell

time for new cell and dont know anything about the smart phones. been using a casio g shock phone for awhile. very durable and almost bullet proof. always gave my upgrades to wife and son as i was happy with it. can anyone tell me about the casio 4g phone or any others that might be just as durable.phone spends most of the time outside or in truck or on boat so i need something durable. thanks

I made same same move a few years ago. The g shock smart phone was so so. It was durable but not more so that my current I phone in a life proof case or otter box.

I work outside and this combo has yet to let me down yet.

I needed a phone that was:
1) Easy to use.
2) Integrated well with work (Windows - email, contacts, calendar, etc...)
3) Doesn't require me to call the kids or others for help.

I went with the Nokia Lumia 928 ($50 at Verizon about a month ago). I am very happy with my choice.

just received my second Gzone Commando, the new is 4g, I opted for the larger 2800 mah battery (2 days regular use before it hits the charger).

Its is as fast as my wife's Iphone 5 S has the google voice, and front forward camera.

iPhone with a lifeproof box. Read and follow directions on putting it together and you'll have a waterproof, insanely durable phone. I keep mine in my pocket at the sandbar. Just my .02

iphone gets so so reviews according to all my friends. I would not put that at the top of the list. Wife has a Samsung galaxy S III and I think it gets the highest of reviews with Android BUT battery life is terrible. I have a Windows phone and battery life is exceptional. I have a HTC Radar couple years old and its perfect. Camera exceptional. If my phone died today I'd look for another Windows phone. Trust me Ive had every gadget phone they make and these are really good. Get a good case and youll be good.

Ditto. Get the Nokia 92x depending on which carrier you want to go with.

AT&T - 920 (although 925 coming soon)
Tmobile - 925 (coming soon)
Verizon - 928.. beautiful phone

Lots of great features. And the Nokia 920 was the phone of the year according to Engadget, that says a lot, beating out the iphone and Samsung galaxy.

I've had the Casio Commando for about a year and a half. It's the 3 g and it's pretty tough. I've dropped it, had it underwater, and left it in the sun all day. It's been a good phone but I'm kinda tired of Verizon.

If you need it right now the S4 Active gets my vote. I'm holding out for a Note3 in November and hoping they have an active version of it at launch.

Never heard of those Lifeproof cases until now. Any downside to them? I have a Otterbox on mine and I like the rubberized backside. Easier to hold. Does the life proof have that?

Waiting for the S4 Active myself. So far only AT&t, praying it comes to Verizon soon.
