Default You have to be kidding me, a fake bird?!

I laughed so hard at the commercial I just seen on TV. I was channel flipping and actually thought it was a comedy sketch, especially when they showed a women talking to this stupid bird sitting on her finger. OMG what will they think of next?!

Check out the video, the people all look like they have brain damage.

I saw that. They had a deal that if you ordered one, you got a second one free. 2 for 14.99.
I was sold, but my sugar momma said no way. I begged, I pleaded, still no dice.
Thanks for the link. Maybe when she hits the sack I will steal her credit card from her wallet.

Tell her she is a sea hag for not letting you buy them. Of course they will double the order for FREE, except you have to pay shipping and handling that totals the price of the free one. . Just think how cool your boating friends will think you are with a bird on each shoulder like a pirate! Arrrr matey, what's wrong with ya silly birds...

The sad thing is they are probably selling them like crazy. I was thinking of buying like 20 of them as Christmas gifts. I figured I would tell them no handling charges because I'm coming to their warehouse and I will do all of the handling. Handling fee, what a joke, how else would they get shipped, maybe we should deduct a receiving fee cuz we have to receive them. ;?

What they don't tell you is the NSA is behind this and good 'ol polly has a state of the art optical/voice/digital recorder in constant contact with their offices.

For a fee of $55/mo you can also link polly to ADT or other private home security co.

Happy July 4th !!!!

Yikes, the thing sings and records! I can't believe anyone would buy this POS except as a joke gift. This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen on TV.

Fake pet bird, yeah that's pretty freakin stupid. To show the family holding it like a real bird is silly. Clearly it makes the same sounds over and over which would get annoying. I used to run a pet store and we had parakeets and let me tell you, they do not sound like that and they actually have a lot of personality. That commercial is clearly targeting people that have never had a real bird before.

Typical "as seen on TV" commercial too. The alternative is always portrayed at nearly impossible to accomplish. They had about $400 in bird supplies pictured there. You don't need all that shit for one parakeet. Its like the Swiffer Sweeper commercial. The alternative is a mop and bucket and they show the lady slopping the mop water all over the place but the Swiffer is so easy, clean and convenient. LOL

You call that "professional" marketing?

That is marketing that is designed to target idiots. With that commercial they aren't going to convince anyone with half a brain with that stupid shit. And you don't have to have a masters degree in marketing to see that.

I have a mental list of companies I won't deal with and products I won't by just based on the stupid commercials they put on TV and radio.

And not that I would ever buy this plastic bird, but that "marketing" wouldn't convince me to buy gold at 1/4 the market price.

Chris,

your giving the general population of this country way to much credit.

Think blue haired ladies and expendable income...
