Default netflix - problem with the discs

every third or so netflix dvd we get has a skip or two in it, and some get really bad. is there any competing movie service that has better discs?

Any problems with other known good disc? May not be the disc but your player instead.

Had Netflix years ago, 3 of every 4 discs would not play all the way through. Their answer was for me to purchase a disc cleaner. I asked why they don't clean the discs as they come in and they said that was my responsibility. As it turns out, my responsibility was to tell them good bye.

I have had net flix for 9 years and only ever had 1 faulty disk. They sent a replacement the next day

I`ve had Netflix for 5 years now and so far every disc has been fine. Only thing I can figure is it`s how the distrubution center handles them. ;?

We've been using Netflix for years, and we do get discs that have issues from time to time. It's really aggravating to get 2/3 through a movie and have it stop playing

We also had a problem with some discs even starting to play, but it turned out that our Blu-ray player needed an software upgrade. It's worked fine since.

Netflix is good about sending replacements right away, and if you call them, they'll send you extra discs to make up for the inconvenience. We get the discs, in addition to streaming, because we like some of the older movies that are only available on discs.

Redbox....and if you get a bad disc, return it and call the 800 number. They will credit it on the spot.
