Good grief, is this rain ever going to end?!
This is going to put a damper on some east coast fire works tomorrow night!

We received 4" inches today, the next couple days may be worse. Picnics and fireworks shows are being canceled all over ATL. Stone Mt postponed its show already.

This shit is getting old. Last Friday we were slammed by brutal winds leading a rain storm. The oak next to the house decided to give up a limp. My roof was the recipient. Punctured the roof and blew out a chunk of soffit. It could have been worse. Fun, fun.

Makes me think of the old Bill Cosby skit about the Ark.
You wanna a hint?
Yes, please
How long can you tread water?

Good news is: I have a pending sale on my boat for next week so it "should" quit soon.

Bad news is: I will be replacing it very soon with a new sled so expect the 20+knot winds and torrential rains to soon follow.

But on the plus side...
I had some bare spots in my lawn that I seeded just before these monsoons started. Knowing full well it may just end up as birdseed. I figga what the heck, had the seed, let's try it.

Neighbors all said it'll never take, too hot, too dry, wrong season etc...

The joke is on them! This new grass is growing faster than any I've ever seen!
Whooda thunk it?

It's the old grass that's the problem now. Can't get it dry enough to cut!

rain is killing my garden, my beans are looking terrible. I have had to pump the pool out everyday, which has caused some problem with the multi-selector, and now the salt system is saying add more salt.

In 5 years of having the salt system I have never had to add salt during the summer, and I will be on my second adding so far in the last month.

I thought I would never say this, but I am ready for some sunshine and the heat, no more rain!

I bet the west coast wishes it was getting all this. I think we needed the rain anyway, too many lakes and rivers were drying up here in florida cause it was all being pumped out for drinking water. I just wish it would rain at night when im sleeping.

Dealing with my F-I-L in the hospital, and now his funeral, has left me with little spare time. I finally broke down and cut the grass IN THE RAIN yesterday. This has gotten ridiculous!!!

We skipped the Destin trip this 4th....glad I made that call as "only" 17 inches of rain there this week.

I'm at 4.5" since Tuesday here in Atlanta....good news is I think I've solved the basement leak.

Your report would flood our valleys they say flatten the state out it would be the size of texas the mountains can only absorb so much water the rest goes down hill

Aren't catfish supposed to be on a leash?
