Thanks for posting. I am trying - someone help me how can I do this without giving my phone number to the collection company. I buy stuff on the internet everyday with credit cards and nobody requires this except for delivery sometimes I have emailed you caring and will share my response. I am sure there is a way.

Hullo guys!

This is tabgirl- I'm getting ready to head home to Maine from Florida, where I've been taking care of my dad. Today (while its almost over) is my birthday, and it just seems like an opportune time to say this:

I really want to thank all of you so much. I'm so grateful for your monetary support, but also I want you all know I'm so thankful to you all for in a way letting me learn about my father. He has clearly created a family here and a group of people that truly apprciates him. There's been such an incredible outpouring; for people that know him and even more stunningly, people that don't. There's been a surprising number of people that have written in their donation that they don't know my father, but given anyway.

My heart is so full knowing how you all have given to him, and I can never thank you fully, you beautiful strangers. The donation fund will stay open for a while, (please keep passing it around, our full total bill will just be too large to say, I can't even estimate any more) I hope we can bring a little more.

I just want to say, again, you people here have let me in on a little part of my father I never knew. It's so amazing to me to know this many people cared this much for him.

Thank you all for making my birthday, my month, and helping my father.
He's being discharged from the hospital tomorrow, and he should be fiddling around on the computer shortly after.

I will check in again in a week or so, just to see what the tabman is up to.

One last super thanks to Blackfin mike- you made this happen, you were totally the catalyst and I can't thank you enough.
-tab girl

And also: if you all are not comfortable paying through the site, I'm managing Tabman's bill at least for a while, please email me and I can receive whatever you want to give. Again: I cannot explain my gratitude enough. Thankyouthankyouthankyou.
