Default Alice cooper

As a Construction Inspector for the City one of my duties is to observe any pyro displays that I'm assigned. Last night I did the ALICE COOPER concert.

I seen Alice Cooper a million years ago!

Maybe 1975? The old Sugar Bowl stadium in New Orleans, I think.

Somewhere around the time he came out with "only women bleed"

Good concert.

He does DJ for a radio station at the Jersey Shore, I'm sure it's syndicated though.

I'll bet he's an ugly mother sticker at this point.

He is pretty dang ugly.
But he is a decent golfer and I loved his turn in the "Reasonable Priced Car" on Top Gear a couple of years ago.

Love the Coop, One of the best concerts ever. He used to do a syndicated night time radio show that was a hoot. Not sure if it is still aired.

I was fortunate enough to see him at house of blues in myrtle several years ago.... it was simply the best show one ever seen... and that includes the likes of korn, metallica, ozzy with and without black sabbath, and many other legends of rock/metal... simply amazing show

And who can forget, "I'm eighteen"!

Saw a segment of him on the Golf channel recently and he said he gave up one addiction (alcohol) for another (golf).

He lives here in Phoenix; I've run into him on a couple of occasions, along with his beautiful wife. Once at Costco where they were picking up supplies for his restaurant Alice Cooperstown, downtown near the stadium. Friendly and unassuming, no rockstar BS about him at all.

And this is funny - Superbowl party at my buddy Jimmy's house. Always a bunch of people, Jimmy throws a great spread of BBQ. I was in the game room and noticed a picture on the wall of a bunch of rock guys playing pool together. BB King, Mick Jagger, and one I couldn't identify. I was like "Geez, looks like Alice Cooper, what is he, about 90 now?" A kid playing pool with my son looks at me and says "No, he's 62." I asked him "So, you a big fan? How would you know?" The kid says "I'm his son." DOH!!! My son calls "Bullshit, prove it!" The kid takes out his wallet shows my son his license. Sure enough, Dash Cooper, Paradise Valley, AZ. We both apologized! I mean, what are the odds, right?

"Schools Out" paint the town every June throughout high school years. Man were those the days.

He was an innovator. My mommy wouldn't let me have his albums, so I used to jam out with my aunt (her younger sister).

He did one hour and 45 minutes without a break. Old favorites, Schools out, Poison, I'm Eighteen.

I'm getting old because it was LOUD.
