Default Bands I Should Be Listening To???

Saw Blackberry Smoke this past weekend in a local venue and they tore it up. 70s rock throwbacks for sure. Like one of their t-shirts says, they are "too rock for country and too country for rock". Got "Good One" on replay right now and will likely buy their Whippoorwill disc soon.

Any other bands that are under the radar that I should be listening to?

Saw them open for Zac Brown in Tampa. From what I remember I enjoyed their show. Check out Pretty Little Lie as well

good choices!

for an alternative/indie twist on southern rock, i'll throw in:

my morning jacket
band of horses
wilco (might be more like psych rock vs. southern, but still great)
