Default How to restore wireless laptop service??

My laptop had problems this weekend and I had to use the system restore(gateway walked me through it) but now my internet will not connect/work

I have the linksys wireless router and can not figure out what I need to do, have been on the phone with Charter and I am tired of waiting and thought maybe someone here could help me

Thanks

This is dangerous but let me, the computer moron, try to help. Did you have the WEP enabled? If so you might have lost your settings on the laptop. Is it saying that there is a network available and you just can't use it or is it not recognizing the network at all? Have you tried to "go to" the router using the IP address supplied with the manual?

With the above answers someone a alot smarter than I am can probably help you.

Well I think Gateway and I have solved the problem, it seems the drivers did not load when we reinstalled everything.

Thanks, laptop is now sitting here beside me and loading all drivers
