I'm in the market for a boat that will get into super skinny water, average over 4 mpg, top out in the 60's, twin engines for safety, handle 4 to 5 foot seas comfortably, family friendly with lots of bow and stern seating, and can go to the floaters for an overnighter chasing tuna and swords. Oh and I'll also be towing it with my Rav 4. Any suggestions?

New Poster: "Just bought a 1979 Shitbird with a 40 horse Johnson". Question is , can I take it offshore safely?" I've been boating most of my life in montana, just sold my gas station and I know boats but just thought I'd pick some brains..
THT: No problem, as long as you have a liferaft, 3 vhfs, and a kahr 9mm on board.
new poster: Yeah, but can I pull it with my Camaro?
THT: Its obama's fault.
New poster: I think the deck may be soft. Is that okay?
THT: Have it inspected by a marine surveyor, a nuclear engineer, and Dr. Phil.
New Poster: Shit, I think I'm gonna sell it. What kind of boat should I get?
THT: We need more info--what's your mother's maiden name, when did you lose your virginity, and what time zone do you live in?
New poster: Why is any of that relevant?
THT: Yellowfin

There is no easy way to remove bottom paint...

There is no easy way to remove the pitting from an aluminum t-top...

There's no such thing as a "free boat"...

49. "Wonder what Garett would say?"

50. "Anybody heard from Garett?"

51. "Who's Garett?"

52. "Is Garett off probation yet?"

43. "Where's Garett?"

GLWS

You should have saved your money and bought a used boat and paid cash...I have never bought anything in life on credit. You must be some kind of a solute moron to finance something. I mean if you can't pay for it now, you shouldn't be buying it.

PM Scarab Chris...I believe he has higher hour Etecs

Nice first post...

You are going to need a 4X4 dully to pull that raft.
Are you crazy ? You have CAR tires on your TRAILER?
You're gonna need a bigger boat to do the crossover, with quad 350's.
Shit.. i did the cross over in an inner tube.
use marine tex to fix that
