This ain't exactly what you asked but if you aren't too keen on an AR and want the punch of a 30 cal round, why not just get the M1A? If its the weight that is an issue you can shave a little weight by getting the M1A Scout. That being said, the people I know shooting the 300 and they love it. Not sure about availability of ammo right now. ???

For the price I think I can flip it if I don't like it
It's about half of what an M1A costs

300 BO really shines in suppressed configuration. If I recall, 300BO has approx same characteristics of 30.30.

I believe you could sell it for at least what you would have in it and probably more. Wilson Combat is a good brand.

I have a M&P-15 in 300 blackout with a TBAC 338 titanium suppressor. It's awesome. If you don't want it I'll buy it.

If you're passing through and want to shoot mine let me know. I'm 7 miles from I-10 on off the Sorrento exit.

The only down side is 300 AAC ammo in sub-sonic is very hard to find. Mine only shoots the Hornady 300 Whisper 208 grains accurately.

Oh well. I've backed off on buying guns, ammo, and mags lately. I have enough to survive a zombie apocalypse!

Here's a pic of my 300 blackout. Mine is on top.

Magpul

A little warning- it requires a totally different hold than a regular rifle or a tactical handle. I dont like them at all..

i do keep an eye out for something "different" though

ammo looks to be an issue in 300AAC, so its probably for the best

Damn; thought I had a new rifle in my future.

Just bought a Ruger in 22 Hornet, you need to come over so we can dial the scope in.
