A little warning- it requires a totally different hold than a regular rifle or a tactical handle. I dont like them at all..
Thanks. Next time I am at the store I will see if they have those in stock. I can see how they require a very different hand placement.....it may work for me.

If you're passing through and want to shoot mine let me know. I'm 7 miles from I-10 on off the Sorrento exit.

The only down side is 300 AAC ammo in sub-sonic is very hard to find. Mine only shoots the Hornady 300 Whisper 208 grains accurately.

Jay - just curious as to your experience with the TBAC suppressor so far - I should have my form 4 approved any day now and there is a TBAC 30P-1 in titanium waiting for me - going on a DPMS in .308 or a Sig in 7.62x39

Thanks

I love mine. It's very quiet. I have some I-phone videos, but the quality is lacking. I need to break out the GoPro and try and get some better footage. It's very impressive. My suppressor is much quieter than the others I've shot with. But it was also 2x or 3x more expensive.

I'm no gun expert but that looks like a nice gun - Rem 700?

I've been thinking about a long range set-up - something like a DPMS LRT-SASS or Sig 716 Precision . . .

BTW - do you shoot subsonic ammo? If so, any suggestions on subsonic in .308, source, etc.?

I don't shoot SS, rifle is a custom built FN SPR. I had a DPMS SASS but ended up selling it because running it suppressed was WAY overgassed. I ended up replacing it with a Armalite Super SASS and it's been great. I run a Surefire FA762SS on it.

Me shooting my DPMS SASS(with my friends tbac 30p1, mine was still in atf jail)

Nice!

Can you please explain the DPMS SASS being "overgassed" for us novices? Right now I just have a DPMS Oracle - will I see the same problem with it if I run the 30P-1?

Thanks!

main issue was the bolt would travel too fast where you would have a round going back into the chamber while the shot case has not fully ejected. It would beat the crap out of your brass(which sucked for me because all I use is Lapua brass).....that being said, I could not keep a unreliable rifle

Thanks for the explanation - we'll see what happens with mine.

I like the suppression level of the TBAC 30P-1 on the DPMS SASS in the video - particularly since you don't use subsonic - can't wait to get mine in!

Look into paladin machine, he makes custom gas blocks for gas guns. I hate to say it, but I'm sure you're going to have the same issue.

Did you try changing the recoil spring to one a bit stiffer?
