Default Gun buy backs

They announce a time and place where they hold a gun buy back at a church or some public place where they give you 100 dollars for your gun no questions asked.

I had the crazy idea to show up and see if anyone would sell me their firearm. I would offer double the buyback amount for a decent firearm.

Thought this might be a way around the ny gun laws and also the local gun dealers who have been taking advantage of the recent developments.

Could this be done?

I sounded a little harsh this morning. Sorry about that. The same time I was typing I was watching this Harvard douchebag professor on CSPAN testify in front of congress about how foreign countries have much lower homicide rates compared to the US.

We are saturated with gun control. Going back to my point, I guess you would have to check your state laws.

That being said, if you like a gun, buy it and let the bastards come get it.

Good luck!

Yeah but it's the "legal" kind of theft. You know they will give you $100 for your $700 gun.

...and gun crimes actually INCREASED after Seattle's last buyback in '92

Previous Seattle gun buyback didn't slow homicide rate - seattlepi.com

I swear that some of the institutions of "higher learning" are becoming a major source of the problems we have in this country.

Where did they get the term "buyback" from?

It implies that the government owned them all to start with.
