Default Computer monitor fading!

I'm loosing color and brightness,thinking about a 17" flat screen....any good leads? Thanks

I do lots of work on spreadsheets and write lots of reports . . . if you do work like this you owe it to yourself to try one of the new 23" monitors e.g. Philips and others . . . try using it with a spreadsheet or two side by side pages in a report . . . you may never go back to a regular sized monitor again

Auguste is dead on there. I had a 21 inch flat panet at my last base and currently have a 19. The 19's are the beginning of the larger than normal and the 21 is perfect. But if you want a really nice full screen layout, then the 23 is the way to go - although they aren't cheap!

I looked at them but the video cards for PCs (not Macs) were not available for laptops . . . they say this fall will have a lot of them
