Default Natchez has ammo

I rec'd an email from Natchez shooting supplies this morning that said they had 308 and 5.56 in stock. Wow is it pricey though, IMO.. The 5.56 was like .65/round in 500 case lots. Almost double what I paid 2 months ago.

I wouldn't pay that but don't see any in stock now anyway.

I got the same email and could not get on the site for at least an hour due to the servers crashing. Once I did this morning I saw the prices and passed. You could by 1K of Federal 193 for that same price six months ago. My 1K of ammo is coming in early February at 45 cents a round. Even that is too high.

Lots of gouging going on right now. Wouldn't be surprised if they turned the AG loose threatening manufacturers with this latest effort. 'If you can't kill the beast, then starve it'? Years ago when they were running around yelling chicken little it was primers and powder for reloading.

got the same email. I logged on to see how "great" the price was. Supply and demand at it's finest. I bought 1000 rounds from em 5 months ago cheaper than that. And it was the same exact ammo

LuckyGunner.com is my favorite of all of the online ammo sites. I have ordered from them numerous times. if they have it in stock and you order before 3PM - they ship that day.

They have been hit hard by the shortages (or blessed depending on how you look at it) but I found some 9 MM Speer Lawman today on the site and ordered it. already have my UPS confirmation. other shops are behind in getting their orders out.

prices are high now as everywhere else, but 6 months ago I paid 200 for 1000 rounds Winchester white (9 MM) and last month 300.00 (before New Town massacre) for JHP Fiocchi 9 MM

when I ordered the 9MM today, I saw that they had some Federal .22 LR in 555 boxes, but I could not see the fps, so by the time I checked the manufacturer website and went to add it to my order - they were out of stock. This is very frustrating (and expensive)

Exactly. What is considered a decent price at this point?

That is crazy. I have to wonder who is jacking up the prices? Is it the components folks or the distributor? There is no LOGICAL reason for ammo to be this high.

I just hope this calms down in a few months.
