Default another reason we souldnt have guns

http://news.yahoo.com/police-fla-cle...gwn&.sep=table

yet another reason the publuc should not have guns. That guy sould have just accepted his fate to be electrocuted beaten and robbed.. how dare he have the right to protect himself. All he had to do is call the police. As long as he could survuve for 5 to 10 min they would have stopped the bad guy with their guns and everyone would be happy...
The sad thing is that some people actually feel this was. Unfortunately it just like most other wont get national media coverage because it demonstrates that we do need guns in our society. What we need to do is quit worrying about offending someone that has mental challenges and help those people...

See he didn't need a AR with a 30 clip. Thanks for making our point.

..."but because you don't see a necessity for AR's with 30 round mags, that means your anti-all guns, don't it?"

That's the same argument they will use when they come back to take all semi-autos next time..........No thanks, I'll keep mine, but feel free to turn in whatever you feel you don't need.
If my intelligence level limited me to arguing that people should give up their constitutional guaranteed rights based on "what they need", i would probably just remove myself from the gene pool.

Due to the severe restrictions on guns in the UK, when Derek Bird, a 52 year old taxi driver went on a rampage he had to do it with an old double barrel shotgun and a bolt action 22 rifle. He still managed to kill 12 people and injure 11 others.

I guess getting rid of high cap mags did them a lot of good, huh?

They basically said the same thing about AR's too.........unconstitutional to ban a weapon that is in "common use at the time", and a "class of arms that Americans overwhelmingly choose for the lawful purpose of self-defense". The AR easily meets both of those qualifications.

However, Obama is soon going to try to load the US Supreme Court with two new leftist judges, so all future rulings by the USSC will interpret the wording of the Constitution with a very liberal bias.

"It’s true that a narrow 5-4 decision by the high court makes what once was an openly-stated goal of the gungrabbers unlikely at present. But the composition of the court can change, and prior decisions can be overturned."

Thought this was settled a while back, at least in one state:

"To prohibit a citizen from wearing or carrying a war arm . . . is an
unwarranted restriction upon the constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols
or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not
by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege." [Wilson v. State, 33
Ark. 557, at 560, 34 Am. Rep. 52, at 54 (1878)]
