I can pop the top with the wrapper off a stick of gum and then gut and clean a fish with the bottle cap but, it's also nice to have the right tool for the job.

Hard to argue with that.

I like my Swiss Army. Got it fifteen or so years ago and take it with me to all sorts of places.

Damn nice knive's. I carry a $12 Sheffield from the home depot. I've had it for 10 or so years. Does what I need and "when" I lose it I'm out $12. Actually I can't believe I still have it, lol!

That's the way it works for me... Now go buy a $60 pocket knife and it'll be gone in a month... Some how, some way....

My favorite but without the serated blade. Finally found them again in a store and bought 3. They're like Timex watches - work great and I'm not upset when I lose it.

I carry this Kershaw Leek as an EDC. Love this knife. Only complaint is that the screws for the clip always come loose even with red loctite.

I carry one also but the skeletonized blade always seems to catch trash, coins, keys, etc in my pocket. Very convenient for single handed use though.
